The Three Main Sections Of Praia Da Falésia

1. Praia da Falésia – Olhos de Água

A wide free parking area sits above the cliffs, followed by a stairway descent to the beach. Lifeguards operate in summer, and umbrellas and sunbeds can be rented for the day. While there are no restaurants directly on the sand, a simple snack bar is located at the top of the stairs.

Surfing conditions vary, but moderate swells can produce good beginner-friendly waves. The local surf school, Albufeira Experience, operates from this section.

Walk 100 metres away from the stairs, and the beach quickly becomes quiet—even in August.

3. Praia da Falésia – Vilamoura / Praia Rocha Baixinha
